Thomas is Four!!

Thomas just turned four years old. He requested a train cake, cupcakes and trains for presents. I can happily say that he received all three. Thomas always has a train in his hand and Jack has become quite a fan of trains too, so the numerous trains he received this birthday will be well loved, I am sure.

Thomas is a happy, smart, fun little boy who is nice to everyone. We are so glad that he came to our family four years ago. Love you Tom!!

Happy Birthday Jack!

Jack had his 2nd birthday a couple of days ago. We gave him the cutest little Kidkraft kitchen. (I call him my little chef because he is always "helping" me in the kitchen.) As soon as we brought it out, he played with it pretty much non-stop. A little later in the day, I was in the kitchen preparing lunch. I had set a cake mix on the counter for his cupcakes. When I went to mix them up, the cake mix was nowhere to be found. I started bribing Dallin and Thomas, telling them if they found the cake mix I would give them a quarter. They looked and looked, but it had seemingly vanished. Then Jeremy asked me "Have you checked Jack's oven?" I went over, opened the oven door, and sure enough there was the cake mix. Quite the little baker that boy of mine!!!

Jack is fun, happy, and his own person. He makes us laugh every day and we love having him in our family!

Thomas hadn't sat down all day. When he finally took a minute to sit down and hold the baby, they both fell right to sleep.

The boys are enjoying the baby so much I feel a little bad that Jack is too young to remember all of this and Drake will never have the experience. Oh well. I guess someone has to be the youngest.

Drake

Drake is almost three weeks old. I am trying to savor every minute as this is the last time I will have a tiny newborn. He is sweet and cute and finally allowing me to get a little sleep at night. We all love him!

Our latest (and LAST) addition - - Drake. Born on Thursday. 6 lbs. 12 oz. 21 inches.

It's Fall Y'all

For those of you who think that I must enjoy year round warm weather, just because I live in Arizona, think again. When I lived in the Phoenix area, I did have that pleasure, but I missed the season changes I had grown up with in Utah. One of the few things I like about living in Taylor, is that we get to enjoy a nice Fall season. The other day, we took a drive to see the pretty fall colors and snapped some pictures. I am sharing more than usual, but you will have to indulge me. I couldn't resist. Happy Fall!!

Bees

The other day, I looked out my back door to see bees flying all around my back porch and swarming all over my hummingbird feeder. We have enjoyed the hummingbird feeder this summer as we had many little visitors to it, and we enjoyed seeing them as we ate many meals on our back porch. The boys would get really excited every time they saw them. However, the visitors this time, were not very welcome. I have nothing against bees - - except I am allergic to them - - so I would rather not have them swarming all over the back porch. I guess the flowers are mostly gone, so that hummingbird feeder was a pretty attractive target for them. My fearless husband came home at lunch and took it down. Thank you Jeremy!!!
